Opened Letter to Akolade (@Nodizondi)

Dear Akolade, I’ve always looked forward to an opportunity
like this to express my thought to you for being Your Number One Fan
For many years even until this moment.

Well for the sake of those people who do not understand
what I’m talking about, I advice you to listen to the
following songs by Akolade: Amuludun, Summer, Ijoba, Lewo Lere Ft. Seriki & Dedemur, Bumba2Bumba Ft Da Suspect, Omo Adugbo Ft. Masterkraft E.t.c

Though it wasn’t so surprising to see You Awards/Nominate You; You Deserve It. The street embrace the "Ijoba" cos of it quality street wise
content, the rate at which the ‘butties’ accepted
you too was alarming. People preached the BsG Gospel and gladly talked about how good the
Single was, But from then I Never Had Anything.

You make matters worse,Because some of Your
songs were not Well Promoted to My Taste Except Omo Adugbo & Ijoba. Needless to say that; this two Tracks topping our playlists.

Nodii, have you heard of the point of
equilibrium? That’s the point when the law of
diminishing return sets in. It happens to
everything and everyone. In simple terms, it’s
the point where you get to the peak, have
nothing extra to offer and the drop starts. To
some, the drop might not be deep while to
some, they would never rise to that point again.
Unfortunately, this happens a lot in the music
industry. While we agree that you are HOT at
this moment and the inspiration is much,
brother, please do not wear yourself out. Ma le
ara e ni ere.

Akolade We are Tired Of "Ijoba" Ehn; Shift Our Attention from this Single. Truth is when you saturate the market with too
many materials, we get tired easily, we don’t pay
full attention to them and the songs end up not
getting as much love as they should. Keep
recording, keep saving them in the cloud and
don’t push too many songs within a short period.
Let the fans yearn for more, let us savour the
goodness of some of what you already have.

On a final note, I love the way your personality
is gradually evolving ‘cos building a brand of
yourself should be beyond your music. You are Such a Rapper/Singer Am Looking Upto.

Thanks

Robbers Kill 10 In Modakeke - Osun Robbery

police.jpg

It was indeed a sad Thursday for people of Modakeke in Osun State, when about eight robbers stormed two major banks in the town and carted away a huge sum of money and killing bank workers and passers-by in the process.

The robbers who arrived after closing hours used explosives to pull down the wall and shot severally to destroy the security doors before gaining access into the banks. They operated the bank one after the other and killed two bank workers and eight others in the process.

The operation lasted for an hour but when police arrived they couldn't overpower the robbers because their weapons were more powerful than theirs. They however shot at the tyres of their car which made them dispatch in batches.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mrs. Folasade Odoro, confirmed the incident.

Kate Henshaw's Message On 43rd Birthday

KATE.jpg

“With all the good wishes, prayers and salutations I have been receiving all week leading to today, I cannot but glorify the King of Kings for His grace, mercy and favour upon my life. It is not by might nor by my power.. My heart is greatly warmed and I have given into a few tears! To be alive today is a gift I do not take for granted because on the 3rd of June 2012, I may not have been here anymore!!!

“To Him who has absolute power over my life, I give praise. I may not be able to respond and thank each and everyone of you for the love and support u have shown me over the years but I thank you indeed from the depth of my heart and pray for greater things in all our lives and nation, Nigeria. My desire to serve is true but I cannot say much right now because there Is definitely a lot of work to be done on my part and firm decisions made.

“We must recognise and remember that change cannot come if we all sit back in the shadows complaining silently. I want to try. We need to play our part and come out of the shadows. Let all voices be heard because one person cannot do it alone. Our strength is in our diversity. That’s is all I can say for now but I will update all as things progress. Thank you again for the overwhelming support and prayers. God bless you all and lots of love…”
