Shocker!!! How Another Ritualists’ Den Was Discovered In Lagos As several Kidnapped Victims Were Rescued – Details!

Another ritualists’ den has been uncovered at Ogolonto area of Ikorodu, Lagos, with at least eight victims, reportedly kidnapped from different parts of the country, rescued. One of the victims, a 52-year‑old man, who identified himself simply as Onwurah, alleged that his wife had a hand in his kidnap, saying he had spent two years in the enclave.

The den was uncovered following a foiled attempt by a mother of four to take one of her kidnapped victims, a seven year‑old boy, to the den. It was gathered that the woman identified as Mrs Rosemary Chukwu, who resides at 33, Omologede Street, behind C&S Primary School, allegedly abducted the seven-year‑old primary school pupil, Emmanuel Emeka, on his way to fetch water from a public well at about 6.30 a.m.

The kidnapped boy’s mother was said to have raised alarm over his unusual delay, which caused residents to conduct a search around the neighborhood for Emeka. An Eye witnesses, Oyetoye Gbemi reported that the alleged kidnapper was sighted with a suitcase on her head, accompanied by her children. He said: “She told us she was traveling to the village. But one of the area boys who was among the search party, ordered his colleagues to search the box. Immediately she heard that, she flung the box away and took to her heels. We all suspected something was amiss. When the box was opened, Emmanuel was found inside, half dead.”

“The area boys descended on her and stripped her naked. On interrogation, she said her pastor, the General Overseer of Holy Family Ministry a.k.a House of Mercy, asked her to bring the boy. The area boys followed her to 319, Lagos Road, Ikorodu, where the church is situated, where they saw her pastor waiting for her. But on sighting the crowd, he took to his heels.”

The prompt arrival of Policemen from Owutu division, stopped the mob from lynching the woman in broad daylight. The angry mob also attempted to set the church ablaze but were also prevented by the policemen. However, they succeeded in torching some parts of the property.

When newsmen arrived at the scene, a crowd had gathered, giving varying accounts of what happened. Another building allegedly used for ritual purposes by the fleeing Pastor Ernest Nwankwo was discovered while chasing him. The building located at 7, Oshodi Street, was behind the church. The angry mob forcefully opened some apartments in the building, where they found an undisclosed number of persons in chains. The victims were reportedly kidnapped from Anambra, Bayelsa, Ogun and Oyo states at different times. One of them, according to eye witnesses, who pleaded anonymity, said she was kidnapped 11 years ago.

According to an eyewitness, “the woman said she is about 50 years old and that she was kidnapped along the Lagos/Ibadan expressway while returning from a vigil. The rest were males looking haggard and tired. The area boys set them free when they opened the apartments. There were also ‘Ghana must go’ bags of currencies. The area boys looted some of the things they met before the arrival of the Police.

About the proposal, he came around for my graduation and I graduated university May 14th which was a Huge blessing for me, for Him and my family. Pregnant Kefee Needs A Miracle To Survive - Doctors

Tribune reports exclusively that a Nigerian musician based in the United States has revealed to them that a doctor has told him Kefee needs a miracle to survive. According to the source, the doctor said, the chances of Kefee getting out of coma are slim as her situation not only requires prayers for survival, but also a miracle as she has been diagnosed of having high blood pressure.
A Nigerian medical doctor also described the situation as very critical.
Dr Adeyefa, told Tribune; “Kefee is in a precarious situation because of the six months pregnancy. If the foetus had been nine months, the doctors would have removed the baby and saved the mother and child. As it is now, not only will the baby not survive because the carrier is in coma, Kefee may also lose her life from further complications. The chances of the mother surviving is narrow, while the kid has a narrower chance. I urge Nigerians to pray for her for a miracle because that is what she really needs,” he added.
It would be recalled that pregnant Kefee had embarked on a 14-hour flight to Chicago on Friday, but went into coma, which forced the plane to land in Los Angeles so she could be urgently attended to.

Why K-Solo Is Angry With Timaya

K-solo on a fresh interview with Punch has revealed why he is upset with Timaya and vows never to produce for him again. He described Timaya as an ingrate even after he has produced 3 successful albums for him. Hear him, Davido the other day bought a house for his producer who recorded his first single that made him a star, even though they hardly work together again, he still did that. What did Timaya do?

Are you having any issue with Timaya?

Not really. I learnt Timaya is upset about a young artiste called Patoranking. His songs are actually topping charts at the moment. He featured Timaya in one of his songs. I leant Timaya said he signed the boy on his label. I know it is a lie. Timaya doesn’t like paper work. I know that about him. The boy was picked up by another record label and I learnt Timaya is upset about it and saying nonsense about the boy. Why didn’t he sign the boy? He just shot a video for the boy and the new label, as I learnt, is even ready to pay him what he spent but I learnt he refused the money. But what is your business in all of this? I was the one that discovered the boy at Ebutte Meta. Till now, the boy has an album in my studio. I had released one or two songs for him and I was about to release more when I had the crisis with my ex. Timaya came to my studio and saw the boy. I don’t know how it happened but they left my studio. I didn’t even mind because when I had that issue, I had to let go of everybody around me. So immediately, Timaya did a song with him and shot the video without any form of agreement. Now, he is saying the boy is an ingrate. I still don’t understand why you are saying this…
Whatever you are doing and you feel it is gone; it will be waiting for you. No sinner will go unpunished. When I was his producer, I produced his first three successful albums that made him what he is today. He never came back to show gratitude; instead he is always fighting me. If I talked to him to tell him the right thing to do, he felt I had no right to tell him such because he felt he is a star. When I wanted to get married, he was among the people who mocked me. Now, he has a ‘baby mama.’ In life, when we don’t know the kind of death we would have, we shouldn’t laugh at people because we don’t know how our case would be. You sound as if you are angry with him…

It is not as if I want to bring him down but I want you to know that nothing lasts forever. It is what you do in life that keeps you going eventually. I was on top of my game before I had the crisis. We should not bite the finger that fed us. God has made me big. I don’t need his money. I can talk about him because I am very comfortable. I don’t pay rent but where he lives today is still a rented apartment even with all his money.

It is obvious, with the way you sound, that Timaya is no longer your friend…

We are not friends on the job. But if I see him on the road, I can say hi to him. If he decides to respond, it is fine but if he doesn’t, it is also fine. Davido bought a house for his producer the other day. It is not as if Davido is working fully with the producer anymore but he never forgot that the producer made his first hit.

Davido Disrupted Babcock Convocation

David Adeleke, known as Davido last Sunday disrupted the convocation ceremony of Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, where he was one of the 1, 544 graduating students.

The singer made a dramatic entrance at the time the special guest of honour, the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was delivering her topical speech.

The moment the singer walked into the complex, the shouts of his name from students and fans rented the air, making the minister to have to suspend her speech, which until Davido’s arrival held the audience spell-bound.

When normalcy could not be restored after several minutes, Davido’s father, Chief Deji Adeleke, rescued the situation by calling out to his superstar son. “David! David! Leave this place now, and follow me where ever I go”, the father intervened.

A staff of Delta Airlines stationed at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos was fired yesterday for going against the rules of the airport management.

The man allowed Don Jazzy drive the electric cart which is used to transport baggage and handicapped passengers within the airport. He allowed Don Jazzy ride in the cart even Don Jazzy was chanting “Oshodi. Oshodi oke”

[Reply To UNIBEN] UNILAG Students Builts Their Own Car Too [Photos]

A group of students of the University Of Lagos (UNILAG), who have built their own version of energy-efficient car for the international Shell Eco-marathon, narrates about the challenges they face and the future of such a prototype.

The mentioned event is being hosted by three continents. This year’s competition took place in Manila, Philippines, February 6-9, 2014, Rotterdam, the Netherlands, May 15-18, 2014 and Houston, the U.S.A., April 24-27, 2014.

Abraham, who is a 500 level Computer Engineering student at UNILAG, said that this year two more teams from Nigeria were building their fuel-efficient vehicles, in accordance with the invitation by Shell Nigeria:

University of Benin (UNIBEN) and Ahmadu Bello University (ABU). The participants of Eco-marathon are divided into several energy types (Gasoline, Diesel, Battery Electric, Alternative fuel and Hydrogen) and two categories (Prototype or UrbanConcept). UNILAG team entered the Battery Electric category.

The purpose of Shell-funded project is use eco-friendly materials and to create a car, which would show on track the best speed possible at the lowest energy consumption possible. The price of the machine also matters.

Every competition has a prize called communication award. It is usually granted to the team who succeeds in publicizing, communication with the people around and building a proper community around the project.

Abraham told that he gathered his team through some of the newspapers and through the UNILAG mobile. The supervising lecturers helped to pick the most-prepared students from the huge number of volunteers.

The first challenge of the group was lack of experience. However, the lecturers gave the proper support to the team and got the things going.

Secondly, some essential components, especially electrical, were not available in Nigeria. They had to be ordered in the UK and delivery time was quite long.

Thirdly, the lack of some tools and equipment slowed down the project. Some of the operations were completed manually.

Logistics challenges, misunderstanding between the students and the vendors and several other issues have also slowed them down.

[Biafra] Why MASSOB Beats Drum Of War Again

Following the arrested and detention of one of its members, the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) at the weekend in Aba, Abia State, warned the Nigerian Army against unfair treatment.

The warning was conveyed by the movement’s director of information, Aba region, Chidi Okoro, on behalf of the Administrator, Madam Comfort Ogbuokiri.

According to her, a 75-year-old man identified as Nnamdi Uburu, was May 30, mercilessly beaten up and arrested by soldiers at the Obikabia Junction near Aba while he was travelling to Owerri for the year’s Biafra anniversary.

The administrator said Uburu was putting on Biafran camouflage when the soldiers apprehended him and took him to their base.

Ogbuokiri said when they received the information that one of their members had been arrested, they went to the army barrack at Obikabia, but were told the man had been transferred to the Ngwa High School camp.

She said when some of her officials got to the army camp at Ngwa High School; they were told that Uburu had been relocated to the headquarters of 245 Battalion in Asa, adding that when they got to Asa barracks, they were told no MASSOB member was transferred their and asked them to go back to Ngwa High School.

Efforts to reach the Army Public Relations Officer (APRO), 14 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Ohafia, proved abortive as he couldn’t be reached for confirmation, an army officer who spoke on condition of anonymity confirmed the arrest.

How Women Arrest Boko Haram Members Using Black Magic

On Sunday, some women in Gwoza town of Borno State are said to have arrested seven Boko Haram fighters who wrecked havoc in the town.

Our newsmen gathered from residents in the area that, the daring arrest by the women was made possible with the use of mystical powers.

Sources in Gwoza said many insurgents had earlier in the day intercepted a vehicle loaded with bread, slaughtered four of the occupants and drove the vehicle towards Sambisa Forest.

The vehicle, which was on its way to Polka from Gwoza was attacked at Warabe village.

According to an eye witness from Gwoza who preferred to go anonymous: “After seizing the vehicle conveying the bread and other valuables in Gwoza and neighboring villages, some of the insurgents moved towards the Sambisa (Forest) and met some women on the way.

“The insurgents wanted to attack the women but their guns did not work. They tried hitting them with the boot of their guns but mysteriously, all the hands of the insurgents hung until angry youth and vigilantes in the area mobilized and killed them,” he said.

Mohammed Gava, the chairman of local vigilantes in Borno State confirmed the incident. “When the gunmen were moving out of Gwoza, most people fled to safety but those women refused to flee. I think the insurgents were angry and wanted to attack them but met their waterloo,” he said.

The suicide bomber that detonated an explosive device killing himself and three other victims close to a TV viewing center around Bauchi Road in Jos is suspected to be a Chadian, a witness told our newsmen.

According to Abubakar Mohammed, a tenant in the house of one of the victims, Alh. Bello Ahmed Ali, where the explosion occurred, said,“When he parked his car in front of my landlord’s house and my landlord called to inform me, I noticed he had either a Chadian or Kanuri accent. My landlord called me out and told me that he suspected the car, so we approached him and asked him to leave but he told us that he was not carrying anything. My landlord insisted, so he agreed to go. I turned around and went into the house, leaving my landlord and his friend outside with the man. Barely a minute later I heard an explosion which knocked me down, and the house went up in flames.”

The tenant said the bomber was wearing a brown short sleeve T-shirt and was dark in complexion.“He was of average height but I can tell you that his Hausa accent was different. I think he was either Chadian or Kanuri,”he said

The Boko Haram sect has abducted many women in recent times and did many atrocious things to them but only this abduction of more than 200 girls from the Government Secondary School Chibok on April 14 attracted public attention.

Few victims of such abduction are willing to speak on their experiences after regaining freedom, findings show Checks in Abbaganaram, Budum, Kofa Biyu, Ruwan Zafi and Gwange in Maiduguri metropolis reveal that many women have been abducted in the past three years by the extremist Islamists sect, Boko Haram.

It was gathered from relations and competent sources that some have returned home while many others have become ‘war brides’ in the hands of their abductors. A 44 year old divorcee who lives around Muna General Area in Maiduguri said she was held for 17 days and was subjected to untold experiences, including rape by young boys that are of the same age with her son.

“I was severally raped by boys that were not more than 18 years,” she said. She said prior to the rout of Boko Haram insurgents from Maiduguri in mid 2013, four gunmen in a Golf car entered her house, took away her jewelleries and whisked her away.

“They took me to an unknown destination which I later found out to be Bulabulin-Ngrannam. The most painful part of the abduction is that throughout my stay in captivity, I was raped by boys that are as young as my first son who was 18 years old then.

They (Boko Haram) learnt that I trade in gold. As such, while in their enclave, the boys would come over every morning, look at me with disdain and said I accumulated a lot of money but was not willing to give sadaqa (alms). They would then forcefully have sex with me,” she said. She said after 17 days she was released but did not explain how. “I left many women there and I don’t know if they have been released or not,” she said.

A relative of another girl who was kidnapped in Bama in January this year said she was later dumped by her captors when she took ill.

“When she got missing for over two months, she was one day found by the roadside along Bama-Damboa road and taken to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH). She was diagnosed with spinal cord injury and we learnt that she was mercilessly raped and that caused the complications,” he said.
