Islamic Music Icon, Waheed Ariyo Is Dead
The community fans of Islamic music are currently in a sad mood as veteran and versatile Islamic singer,Alhaji Waheed Ariyo bowed to death at exactly 1’oclock this morning at Ibadan teaching hospital.
Confirming this to NaijaMovie, another sensational Islamic music act, Hammed Alawuye said that the sad story is true and the music legend would be buried at his residence, Ijoko Ogun State.
Waheed Ariyo who hit the limelight in the mid 90’s will be remembered for his golden voice and his moral compositions. Ariyo hits include: Imo, Aditu Nla, Ojoola and many more.
